The world of science is fascinating, and when our class of chemists get to work, they will discover how reactions occur, and investigate fascinating outcomes! Goggles on, everyone!
Recent deep space discoveries are changing the frontier of space exploration. We’ll make our own discoveries, learning about the characteristics of planets and solar systems in our galaxy. We will wrap up the week with a trip to the Transportation Discovery Centre at Resurgo Place.

Art is the expression of one’s self; it displays our individuality and is an outlet for our emotions. We’ll examine and produce different forms of art, as well as learn how to convey our thoughts and feelings through individual creativity. Parents will be invited to “Studio 1535” for a private art gallery viewing on Friday!
In advance of New Brunswick Day in Canada, we will investigate what makes our Province unique relative to our neighbours, proudly celebrating our differences. The week wraps up with a visit to a local farm.
New Brunswick is home to the highest tides in the world. We will spend the week studying unique bodies of water in the Maritimes. Visits to the Tidal Bore Centre in Moncton and the Homard Centre in Shediac are planned.
Our world would not be the same without music that evokes emotion and teaches us about our true selves. We’ll learn about different instruments, music styles, and how to incorporate movement with music. We will also be inviting musicians skilled in playing a wide variety of instruments to demonstrate their talents. A visit to Long & McQuade will cap off this instrumental week.
Our planet is home to many unique jungles, and their inhabitants can be quite peculiar! Our young explorers will look at the characteristics of many strange breeds, and then cap off a week of discovering jungle inhabitants and their habitats with a trip to the Magnetic Hill Zoo!
We will look into Canada’s history and growth into the wonderful Nation it has become. We will also be delving into our rich Aboriginal history. This week of discovery leads up to the weekend celebrations that will be occurring right across this great country.
The wonderful stories of Robert Munsch will highlight literacy week. The children will be reading, discussing, and then creating their own stories that we will publish for our Kingswood library. A trip to the Moncton Library is also scheduled.
