Art is the expression of one’s self; it displays our individuality and is an outlet for our emotions. We’ll examine and produce different forms of art, as well as learn how to convey our thoughts and feelings through individual creativity.
Parents will be invited to “Studio 1535” for a private art gallery viewing on Friday!
How fast can you run? How high can you jump? Is good nutrition important to our physical well-being?
We will look into the Olympics rich history, who are Canadian champions, and explore the upcoming Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan in 2020.
With our indoor gym and large outdoor space, daily feature sports will be taught and played as we train for the ultimate challenge: the Kingswood Olympics held on the final day!
Citius, Altius, Fortius
Did you know that New Brunswick is home to the warmest ocean waters north of the Carolinas? Also, no part of New Brunswick is more than 180 kilometers from the Atlantic Ocean!
This fertile aquatic playground is home to some very unique and interesting ocean flora and sea life, and we will be investigating some of the more peculiar ones native to our province.

Our world would not be the same without music that not only evokes emotion, but teaches us about ourselves. We’ll learn about different instruments, music styles, and how to incorporate movement with music. We will also be inviting musicians skilled in playing a wide variety of instruments to demonstrate their talents to our class of future Beethoven’s.

Our planet is home to many unique jungles, or tropical rainforests as they are called today. Their existence is under threat, with global coverage falling from 14% to just 6%! Our young explorers will learn about the importance of our rainforests and their inhabitants, and look at ways we can help preserve them for future generations.
After last year’s historic 150th birthday, Canada begins the next semi centennial period on its 151st birthday. In addition to discussions about the joining of the colonies, we will also be delving into our rich Aboriginal history.
So, put on your best Canada Day duds and join in on the fun!

Since 2003, Mo Willems has authored numerous books for young children, many of which have garnered significant critical acclaim, winning multiple awards. The New York Times Book Review referred to Willems as “the biggest new talent to emerge thus far in the 00’s” — and to his pigeon character as “one of this decade’s contributions to the pantheon of great picture book characters.
Willems’ books have been translated into a number of languages, spawned animated shorts that have twice been awarded the Carnegie Medal (Knuffle Bunny, 2007, and Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus, 2010), His illustrations, wire sculpture, and carved ceramics have been exhibited in galleries and museums across the nation, and several books have been developed into theatrical musical productions.

The students will also create their own stories that we will publish for your viewing in their Summer Camp library.
Learning to cook teaches us how to follow instructions, math concepts, and encourages creativity. Our epicurious students will learn about basic cooking instruments, healthy food choices, and create something delicious while having fun!

Recent discoveries are changing the frontier of space exploration…from deep space satellites several solar systems away, to black holes and asteroids, to SpaceX’s reusable rockets and plans to get to Mars. We’ll make our own discoveries, learning about the characteristics of planets and solar systems in our galaxy.
