In advance of New Brunswick Day in Canada, we will investigate what makes our Province unique relative to our neighbours, proudly celebrating our differences. The week wraps up with a visit to a local farm.

New Brunswick is home to the highest tides in the world. We will spend the week studying unique bodies of water in the Maritimes. Visits to the Tidal Bore Centre in Moncton and the Homard Centre in Shediac are planned.

Our world would not be the same without music that evokes emotion and teaches us about our true selves. We’ll learn about different instruments, music styles, and how to incorporate movement with music. We will also be inviting musicians skilled in playing a wide variety of instruments to demonstrate their talents. A visit to Long & McQuade will cap off …

Our planet is home to many unique jungles, and their inhabitants can be quite peculiar! Our young explorers will look at the characteristics of many strange breeds, and then cap off a week of discovering jungle inhabitants and their habitats with a trip to the Magnetic Hill Zoo!

The wonderful stories of Robert Munsch will highlight literacy week. The children will be reading, discussing, and then creating their own stories that we will publish for our Kingswood library. A trip to the Moncton Library is also scheduled.
