Music is a universal language, and during this upbeat week, we’ll learn about different instruments, music styles, and how to incorporate movement with music. We finish the week with our traditional visit to Long & McQuade where they open up the store before retail hours, and turn on all the instruments for the students to try!

Canada 150. Canada’s birthday. The sesquicentennial. It’s your birthday, Canada, make a wish. Make it count! We will be celebrating along with all of the country during this historic week, looking at our rich history and heritage in New Brunswick. We will finish the week with a field trip to the downtown festivities taking place on Friday. Happy 150th, Canada!

Our fascination with our solar system and beyond captures the imagination of students of all ages. During this spaced out week, we will learn about the characteristics of planets and solar systems in our galaxy. We will wrap up the week with a trip to the Observatory at U de M.
New Brunswick…My Province…My Home!
In advance of New Brunswick Day on August 7th, we will study our Province’s history and geography compared to the rest of Canada, identifying what makes us so unique relative to our neighbours, proudly celebrating our differences. The week wraps up with a visit to Hopewell Rocks.
