A little more than 2 1/2 years ago, after visiting numerous preschools and another Montessori program, we were fortunate enough to find Kingswood Academy Montessori. We didn’t know what to expect when we made an appointment with Debra to learn more about Kingswood Academy Montessori, but when we visited the school, we were very pleased with what we saw – a well-kept classroom with a wide array of activities for the children and children actively and happily engaged and having fun with their work. After spending some time in the classroom and speaking with Debra, we knew we had finally found the place where we would be comfortable leaving our son. A place where Montessori tools and teachings would be a fit with his personality. In the two years that our son has spent at Kingswood Academy Montessori, we have watched him blossom. When he started, he was introverted and we were worried about his speech. With the help of Kingswood Academy Montessori, he has come out of his proverbial shell and is now articulating much better. Kingswood Academy Montessori has managed to attract staff that provide an educationally rich atmosphere that is very warm and nurturing. Thank you for creating an environment where we, parents, are welcome and consistently kept informed of our son’s progress. Thank you for creating a place where our son continues to enjoy his interactions with his classmates and is supported by dedicated teachers. Thank you for helping our son develop a love for learning that will grow into a lifetime thirst for knowledge.
