First of all we will tell you that we don’t refer to this facility as a daycare, to us it is a private school for very young children. The one on one, constant stimulation, healthy nutrition, and educated caring staff can all attest to growth in such a short time for our little 2 year old. Within weeks she was reciting her ABC’s, counting from 1 to 10 without missing a beat, signing more than our nursery rythme, and speaking a few words in French. Some of the other things that impressed us that you find in VERY few schools (daycares) are the monthly emails received about the “goings on” of the school with slideshows of our little one, annual school pictures done by a photographer, the many “during school” programs they offer such as soccer, dance, advanced French, music and swimming (to name a few), and the Christmas concert event put on in a rented auditorium that takes months of planning and a lot of care to pull off. Something that is very important to us was her nutrition, the menu (planned months in advance) is healthy, nutritious and nothing you will find in a box! We have also enrolled our daughter for Montessori school in September 2011 and we know this will be an easy transition for her since Debra and her staff take such care in all they do. This facility really IS the best we’ve seen. They truly believe in “educating young hearts.. and minds!” Words Kingswood Academy stands by.
