~Jen & Steve CharleboisOur daughter Amelia has been attending Kingswood Montessori since the day she turned two years old. It was really hard for us, as it probably is for most parents, to leave our child with someone else for the day; however, the wonderful teachers did a fabulous job at easing our minds and caring for Amelia the way we would at home. We recall the first week; the teachers sent us text messages and pictures reassuring us that Amelia was having a fantastic learning experience, which she truly was. From day one, Amelia couldn’t wait to go to school each morning and actually begs on weekends and days off to see her friends and teachers. That right there is peace of mind and that is priceless! The following year, Amelia was diagnosed with a chronic autoimmune disease that requires hourly management and entails daily injections. One of our biggest fears while in the hospital with her was that she would not be able to return to school. We were speechless when Debra and Richard comforted us by saying that they would do what was needed to ensure she returned to school. They went as far as having their teachers, staff and even themselves trained by the hospital to help manage her disease. To this day, everyone has come together to help Amelia thrive and not feel left out because of this disease. No words can express our gratitude and confidence in the people of this wonderful school. They are beautiful and dedicated individuals who are committed not only to providing a high-quality education, but are also “family” when our child is away from home.
