Our grandson has been attending Kingswood since September 2010 where he has been taught life, learning and discipline skills necessary for kindergarten this coming fall. This school excels in children’s developmental needs, and is full of music, dancing, joy, healthy food, and happy children. Kingswood provides an environment where children learn and have fun as well as develop wonderful relationships with each other. On behalf of our family, we would like to express appreciation of the efforts of all staff at Kingswood. Here we can be certain that he is under proper care and guidance while enjoying the hands on activities and experiments. The teachers are obviously carefully selected, trained and educated in early childhood. The staff provides a very loving, nurturing and safe environment for them while developing their social skills and confidence and preparing them for Kindergarten. They are introduced to letters, shapes, colors and numbers with an emphasis on communication and social skills. Every day, he comes home and we hear what he learned that day and some days we are amazed. Our grandson seems to be thriving and happy. So many of the concerns that we had at the beginning of the school year seem to have dissipated. We attribute that to a large extent to the nurturing environment at Kingswood, and to the care, attention, and learning that your staff have given him. We have to thank you for making his first school experience so special. Kingswood Preschool is an excellent environment to introduce a child to the school experience and I highly recommend it to anyone considering preschool for their child. The Kingswood staff firmly believe that every child has a place there, and that alone brought a lot of relief to our minds. Thanks to all your staff for your dedication and warmth. They teach in a loving and yet firm manner where appropriate behavior is valued and respect is taught. They appreciate, encourage, and accept the individual gifts each child brings. They are allowed the freedom to be individuals and are all expected to behave in a responsible, safe, and polite fashion. We will be forever grateful for the impact that you have had on our grandson.
